We take various elements from nature for our use. We take various elements from nature for our youths. We also behaved rudely to nature. It has destroyed the balance of nature. The elements of nature are limited ; most of the time we forget it however, unplanned urbanization and industrialization has affected the world environment enormously. The enormous pollution of the environment is the most significant cause of the change of the world climate and Bangladesh is also under the threat of it.

The climate is changing mostly for the green house affected. The balance of environment is breaking down for increasing the average temperature due to the green house affected. According to the observation of the IPCC, the average temperature of Bangladesh has increased from 0.2 to 1 degree Celsius. Bangladesh is under the great threat because it is in the Asian region.
The probable threats to Bangladesh for global warming are:
1.flood, cyclone, high tide etc will be increased due to the change of the climate it will damage our assets and lives massively  specially in our coastal areas.
2. According to the opinion of the IPCC the sea level of the Bay of Bengal will be increased about one meter by this country. Rainfall will increase abruptly  in the rainy areas for the change of the climate. So, the global warming is increasing the threat for our coastal areas and low lands.
3. On the one hand, global warming will increase the rainfall in the rainy areas and on the other hand, it will stop the rainfall in the dry areas. So, the desertification will happened in some areas in our country for change of the climate.
4. The average temperature of Bangladesh will be increased up to 02 degree Celsius by the year 2050. It will reduce the production of rice up to 10% and wheat up to 30% due to  the shortage of  the water for irrigation.
5. The temperature and the salinity of the sea water are increasing for changing the climate. It will spoil the fishes of the sea and the Mangrove trees and plants of the forests.
Bangladesh is under the great threat of the global warming. Change of climate is affecting greatly the Asia. Bangladesh, however should take the following precautions for facing the challenges of the global warming;
a)  To stop use of the CFC and the other greenhouse gases .
b) To stop the use of fire woods and bio-fuels.
c) To expand the program of planting trees all over the country, specially in the coastal areas.
d) To monitor the behaviors of the world climate and taking decisions accordingly.
e) To increase the public awareness about protecting the environment.

We should prepare the effective and sustainable policies and strategies for facing the challenges of the climate change. It is our duty to remove the imbalance of nature.

---Tree Plantation---

Trees are the most important gifts of nature. Since the dawn of civilization, man has a  close relationship with trees. They help us in maintaining the ecological balance which is essential for the preservation of life on earth. They are our friends. They play an important role in our life and economy.

Trees are useful to us in many ways. We get from trees different kinds of nutritious fruits which make us healthy and protect us from diseases. By taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen in the air, trees help us to exist on earth. Trees give shade and shelter to many people. Trees make the land fertile and save the soil from erosion. Trees attract clouds and cause rainfall. We get timber from trees. We use timbers in making houses, furniture, etc. Trees are used as fuel. Trees are also our source of income. We can earn a a lot of money by selling fruits and timber.
Bangladesh is mostly a flat and riverine country. Lands in the upper region of the rivers are highly suitable for the growth and development of trees. Sea-beaches, low-lying
Unused lands, sides of the highways and roads can be brought under the scheme of tree plantation. Again, in the hilly areas of Chittagong Hill Tracts and Sylhet there are many lands left unused. These lands can also be brought under the plantation programme.
June and July are the most suitable period for planting trees in our country. Both government and private sectors should come forward to raise consciousness among people about the importance of tree plantation.
Trees and forests bear a great impact on climate. A country needs trees to ensure a cool and healthy climate for her people. If we destroy trees at random, one day the country will turn into a desert. As a result the country will face a great crisis because our country is dependent upon agriculture.

Tree plantation is, by far, one of our most important duties. It is essential to prevent the greenhouse effect. So tree-plantation is a must as it ia of great importance  to us.

We are directly and indirectly dependent on trees. Trees help us in many ways. But we thoughtlessly cut down trees in large numbers. This situation is known as deforestation. For the increasing number of population we need more schools, colleges, offices, business establishments and various sorts of furniture. So, we cut down many trees. Moreover, in many parts of Bangladesh people are to depend on wood for cooking their food. To make fire-wood they cut down trees. This cutting down of trees leads to deforestation which has many adverse effects.

Deforestation disturbs our ecological balance. Animals and birds living in the forests are on the verge of extinction due to deforestation. Carbondioxide is increasing worldwide making the world warmer. It  is causing greenhouse effect. The rising of temperature and greenhouse effect will disturb normal production o crops.

Trees give us oxygen and take in carbondioxide. Inadequate number of trees causes drought and drought damages crops. When crops do not grow as we require, there occurs famine. So, we see that there is an inter-connected link and cycle between umans, animals and trees. Deforestation may cause desertification in many parts of the world which will pose a serious threat to our living. It also causes the rise of sea-level. Rising sea-level brings about flood. Flood brings untold miseries to the people. Deforestation causes river erosion also. River erosion makes many people homeless.

Deforestation exerts many adverse effects on climate, agriculture and our over-all existence. We should try to stop deforestation and plant more and more trees.

----Globalizing--

Globalization means connecting the whole world by electronic systems. Globalization also means bringing the whole closer thorough strengthening mutual relation of trade, commerce, education, sports, culture and exchanging information and ideas among the different nations of the world. And this can be made possible by making the use of modern technology.

So, for globalization the use and application of modern technology is a must. The modern technological devices and machinery that facilitate globalization are computer, internet, televisions, satellites, E-mail, fax, fiber optic communications etc. Without the help of modern technology, globalization will be impossible.

Because of the advancement of modern technology a revolution has taken place in all fields, like trade and commerce, education and culture, games and sports and international relations. The blessing of modern technology has created a momentum in all these fields and health countries and people to advance and prosper. People are being connected with one another by utilizing modern technology and are getting mutually benefited. It has also caused an explosion of knowledge which is becoming more and more available to the public owing to technological advances. Modern technology has enabled job seekers to search for jobs home and abroad, with the information updated hourly.

Through a computer e-mail and fax services, people are getting information of any kind instantaneously . The information and communications technology has influenced people’s habits, choices, political decisions and social options in a positive manner. The modern technology helps in boosting up industrial and agricultural productions. It eases office work and helps them to be done with clarity.

So, it is evident that technology and globalization go hand in hand, Globalization demands technology which helps us think, work and perform on a global basis. They are inseparable and not detached.
